Azúa’s inspiration derived from the pure, elemental quality of light. He captured this concept in a simple design distilled to its essence, merging materials and light in a streamlined silhouette.
“The lamp is defined by its rigour,” he explains. “It’s just a line, a circle, a volume that integrates all its components. There are no external parts—it’s clean.”
The collection name came from the circular version—the halo—an iconic spiritual symbol that appealed to Azúa for its restrained form and the idea that it’s generates a soothing, surrounding glow.
The fixtures are affixed to the ceiling by a length of slender, artisan-crafted steel in a choice of gleaming gold or sleek black finishes. Adorning the LED-powered diffusers like accents, the steel armature enhances the ornamental look of the lamps while it secures and sets off the minimalist lights—just as a jewelry setting does.
