North Floor Pendant wins the the 2019 PIA Awards

The award purpose is to determine and honour the most innovative LED and solid-state luminaires and fixtures on the market, as well as recognize leaders in several categories, like cutting-edge research and development, sustainable technology, new standards development.

The North Floor Pendant is an innovative synthesis of a floor and suspension fixture that creates an entirely new category of lighting and enables endless options in illumination.

Defined by a deconstructed silhouette, it has been inspired by the desire of its designer to visually connect the floor and ceiling and to place light exactly where needed.

North Floor Pendant is composed by three disconnected pieces: a triangular aluminum shade containing a LED-powered light source, a slender carbon fiber stem, and a stylish counterweight positioned on the floor that connects to the electrical cable and supports the hanging part. Each can be adapted as needed.

The North family also includes Wall and Hanging collections, available in a wide range of sizes and colour shades.
